A new take on the classic french fry! This zesty seasoning will elevate the sweet potato taste to a whole new dimension. Serve with a homemade ketchup or veganaise!
How It's Made
2 sweet potato(es)
1 teaspoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon Maca Powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon coconut palm sugar
sea salt and pepper to taste
Cut sweet potatoes into uniform strips (about ½ inch wide) and place on a baking sheet.
In a bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, coconut palm sugar and maca.
Brush the fries with coconut oil (liquified, by heating over low heat) and sprinkle the spice mixture all over.
Bake at 450 ° F for 25 minutes or until the fries are golden brown. Allow a few extra minutes for crispier fries.
Serve as is, or with homemade ketchup or veganaise!
