How it's made

Ingredients

  • 1 (750mL) bottle of sparkling white wine or prosecco
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 2 pears, thinly sliced
  • 2 sliced oranges
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Cane sugar or coconut sugar, for rimming
  • Juice of one lemon

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, mix the wine, maple syrup, fruit and cinnamon sticks. Put in the refrigerator and allow the flavours to mix (but not enough time so that the bubbles are lost), about 30 minutes.
  2. Pour the lemon juice in a shallow bowl and the sugar in another. Dip the rims of your glasses in the juice first, then the sugar.
  3. Fill your glasses with sangria and enjoy!
