Homemade chocolate flavoured almond milk!

How It's Made

PRESERVATION In a closed container, the milk keeps for a couple of days in the fridge. It can be easily added to your cereal, as a base to your smoothie or to drink directly. TIP Add 3 tbsp of chia seeds to 1 cup of the almond milk. Mix well and let the seeds soak up the water for about 45 minutes until you get a texture that resembles tapioca pudding!

  1. Soak almonds for 4 hours or all night. Soak pitted Medjool dates in 1 cup of water for 30 minutes.
  2. In the Vita-mix, mix the almonds and water for approximately 1 minute.
  3. Press the mixture to take as much milk out as possible.
  4. Rince the Vita-Mix and put the milk back in the container. Add the vanilla, cacao powder and the Medjool dates with their soaking water. Mix well. Enjoy!
