Carrot, Orange, Mango and ProactivChia Smoothie

We all need a little sunshine. However, if it's missing from our daily lives, we can always try finding in on our plate (or in a glass)! This smoothie gets it's lovely sunshine colour from multiple fruits and vegetables, which also contribute to it being rich in fibre and vitamins! Homemade smoothies can sometimes be preferable to pressed juices, since they still contain fruit pulp, which is chock-full of fibre. A tablespoon of whole chia seeds make a great addition to smoothies as well. Prana's ProactivChia is rich in fibre, omega-3 and probiotics, making it without a doubt the best thing to add to all of your drinks and smoothies! How It's Made


  • 2 cups of coconut or maple water
  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup of carrots
  • 1 cup of frozen mango chunks
  • 1 orange
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ProactivChia


  1. Peel and dice the carrot.
  2. Peel the orange and cut into quarters. 
  3. In the bowl of your blender, add all of the ingredients except the ProactivChia. Blend until smooth, and pour into a mason jar. 
  4. Add the ProactivChia to the mason jar and shake. The chia seeds take about 15 minutes to become drinkable.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Note: A quick and easy way to start this recipe is by using organi baby carrots, that way they're already peeled & cut!
