Hummus is an excellent choice when it comes to snacking. Hummus is both tasty and nourishing. Chickpeas are high in protein and fiber, a good choice to help you feel satisfied. Try dipping your favourite vegetables, breads or dress up your sandwich using hummus as a spread.

How It's Made


  • can chick peas
  • 1 -2 garlic cloves
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Zest of half lemon
  • Handful Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp ground cumin seeds
  • 2 tps maple syrup
  • 3 tbsps tahini paste


  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and mix until the desired consistency is reached. Enjoy with pita or with raw vegetables!
