How It's Made

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup Walnuts
  • 1 ½ cup Sundried Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsps capers
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsps fresh basil
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • shallots
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsps balsamic vinegar

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a food processor until it reaches a rough consistency.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a jar and refrigerate. This spread is perfect when served with bread or veggie sticks. It is also an excellent stuffing for mushrooms or as an addition to your favourite sandwich. Enjoy!
In the refrigerator the spread will keep for at least 2 weeks.
