Discovered in Brazil by the Portuguese during the 16th century, the cashew tree was transported to Africa, and then to India before spreading all across Asia.
Cashews are delicious when eaten raw, roasted or seasoned. They can be cooked and paired with multiple recipes but cashews are particularly interesting in deserts! Our cashews are superbly sea-salted in our Extaze mix, or dry roasted and covered in maple syrup with a touch of sea salt in our great Go Nuts snack mix.
Can be preserved in a cool, dry cupboard, protected from light and humidity for up to 12 months or up to 14 months if stored in the refrigerator.
