Nori Sesame Chips Recipe

With it's relatively neutral taste, nori sheets make a great beginner sea vegetable to introduce into your diet. Nori sheets have exceptional nutritional value, which makes this chip recipe a great alternative to potato chips or other salty, less healthy snacks.

How It's Made


  • 4 Nori sheets
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • A pinch of sea salt




  1. Preheat the oven to 150°F.
  2. Melt the coconut oil in a bain marie and mix it with the sesame oil.
  3. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, evenly place the nori sheets. Cut sheets to your desired chip size. We suggest cutting the sheets in 4, and then again in 4 with the smaller pieces.
  4. Using a basting brush dipped in oil coat the nori sheets evenly, while sprinkling with sesame seeds and fine sea salt.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes at 150°F, then let cool.
