Maple and Cardamom Cashew Milk

Cashew milk is a great breakfast beverage, and even better when its flavored with maple syrup and cardamom. This recipe is easy to make, with only 3 steps necessary. Soak the nuts, rinse the nuts, blend the nuts. Unlike almonds and hazelnuts, cashews don't have any skin which means there is no residue left behind after blending!

How It's Made



  1. Soak the cashews in a large bowl of water for 4 hours, or over night.
  2. Rinse and drain the cashews.
  3. In a blender add the cashews, water, salt, maple syrup and cardamom. Blend until smooth, homogenous and creamy.
  4. The milk can be kept for 3-4 days in a air tight glass container in the refrigerator.
Flavour the milk to your taste by adding cinnamon, cacao, cardamom or vanilla.
