How It's Made
8-10 Medjool Dates
1 cup European almonds
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon Maca Powder
1 tablespoon Goji berries
a pinch sea salt
Prepare the dates by soaking them in hot water for a few minutes until they are soft.
In a blender mix the almonds until they become a flour-like texture. Add in some dates (4-5) and cacao powder and mix well to form the tart crust.
Press the crust dough into small tart molds.
Prepare the caramel by mixing the remaining dates and the maca powder, adding the water the dates soaked in as necessary. Pour the caramel over the crust in the tart molds.
Add a pinch of Himalayan sea salt and decorate with goji berries, nuts, or hemp seeds. Refrigerate for a few minutes before serving.
