How It's Made
1/3 cup of almond milk
6 Medjool Dates
3 dried figs
1 tablespoon of lucuma powder
2 cups of almond powder
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
A pinch of Salt
2 c. à soupe de maple syrup
1/4 cup of Walnuts
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Finely chop the dates and figs into small pieces.
In a blender, combine the almond milk, almond powder, lucuma, cinnamon, salt and maple syrup. Blend until smooth and consistent.
Add the dried fruits and walnuts. Mix anew.
On a parchment paper lined baking sheet, place ping-pong sized dough-balls about 2 cm apart. Lightly flatten the balls and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 15 minutes or until nice and golden. Let cool.
