Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Covered Almonds

Here's a quick and easy recipe to take on when you have that sudden chocolate craving. Because it's so easy and effortless, it makes a great last minute gift idea for the chocolate addict in your family. Just place them in a mason jar, and tie with a ribbon! This recipe can easily be adapted for any kind of nut, and you can throw in your favourite dried fruits too for a little diversity.

How It's Made



  1. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a double-boiler.
  2. In a large bowl, put the almonds and then cover with the melted chocolate. Mix very well so that the almonds are well covered.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and with a tablespoon make small clusters of nuts on the baking sheet
  4. Sprinkle sea salt over and place the sheet in the freezer for 10 minutes or longer.
