Chocolatey ProactivChia Parfait with cacao, Figs and Banana

This easy-to-make ProactivChia parfait is the perfect recipe for a healthy snack when you're pressed for time. It's decadent layers of chia pudding, creamy banana-fig smoothie and crunchy nuts blend harmoniously together to satisfy your snack cravings. Prepare the chia pudding in advance so as not to waste any time when you're hungry!

How It's Made: Chocolate ProactivChia Pudding

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of ProactivChia
  • 1 cup of homemade almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground vanilla
  • 1 tablespoons of raw cacao powder
  • 1 dash of maple syrup

Directions

  1. In a mason jar, mix the almond milk, maple and cocoa powder until homogenous (you can also use a chocolate almond milk if you desire). Add chia seeds and vanilla. Mix well. Shake every 10 minutes to avoid the chia sticking to the bottom of the jar. Set aside for an hour, or leave overnight.

How It's Made: Banana and Fig Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 dried figs
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup of homemade almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon of maca powder (optional)
  • 1 banana, sliced in rounds, for garnish
  • Small slices of dried figs for garnish

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together. You can rehydrate figs if they are a bit dry.
  2. In a glass or a small jar, assemble the parfait starting with the chia pudding. Add the smoothie while adding banana slices between each layer. Top with the sliced figs, or garnish of your choice and enjoy!
