Raw cacao, maca powder, cashews and finally a touch of orange...No better way to celebrate the month of love than with a recipe for delicious truffles! These ingredients mix perfectly into a dessert that gives you energy and happiness with every bite... and maybe a boost in lidibo too!

How It's Made

  1. With a high speed blender (Vitamix will give you the best consistency) - mix the cashews, agave syrup, orange zest, orange juice and vanilla until it becomes a completely smooth mixture.
  2. Add the melted cocoa butter, the cocoa powder and the maca powder and mix until these additional ingredients become blended into the rest.
  3. Put in a covered bowl and place in the refrigerator for multiple hours or if time permits, overnight.
  4. To facilitate processing, remove the bowl from the refrigerator and put it at room temperature on the counter 30 minutes before shaping the truffles. Use your hands to shape the mixture into balls half the size of a ping-pong ball.
  5. Decorate, according to your inspirations, with the orange zest or if you prefer, you could use diced pistachios or almonds. Serve immediately or conserve the truffles in the fridge in an air-tight container. Share & enjoy!!
