Almond Espresso Milk

Making your own almond milk is not only easy, but tends to yield creamier and fresher results than the store-bought brands. You can easily modify this recipe according to your tastes (add more espresso / sweeten less...), it's really up to you! Enjoy with your breakfast or as a mid-morning snack!

How It's Made


  • 1 cup of
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1/4 cup of espresso
  • 1 tablespoon of
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence


  1. Soak the almonds for 4 hours or overnight. Rinse and drain.
  2. Blend the almonds and water in a high speed blender for about 1 minute.
  3. Using a nut milk bag, filter the milk. Squeeze the bag to get all excess liquid out.
  4. Prepare the espresso and add it to the almond milk along with the maple syrup and vanilla essence. Mix well and serve!
